At The Feelings Teacher, our work is grounded in a unique and compassionate approach developed by Ines Gomes, combining three powerful frameworks: Neurodiversity strategies, Emotion Coaching, and Restorative Practice. Together, they form the heart of what we do — a triad that nurtures understanding, connection, and long-term change.
This approach has proven to be highly effective for children both in school and at home. It helps adults and professionals understand the “why” behind a child’s behaviour, while equipping them with practical strategies to respond in ways that build trust, confidence, and emotional resilience.

Ines is a warm, genuine, down to earth person. She feels passionately about her work with young people and feels privileged to work in her field. Ines has nearly 20+ years experience working with children. Most of Ines’s clients come to her by personal recommendations with a range of problems from emotional to behavioural problems.
